Julie Hardy is an established vocal coach & producer, songwriter, and session singer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is on the core faculty at New School University where she teaches jazz singing & improvisation. Julie is signed to SONGS Publishing. 

Julie Hardy made her television debut on Saturday Night Live where she performed live with Ellie Goulding and followed that up with a  performance on David Letterman with St. Vincent. She recently co-wrote Australian singer Meg Mac's radio single "Don't Need Permission" which was released June 2017. She co-wrote "Keep Lying" and "Sick" for Donna Missal. "Keep Lying" was featured on the Spotify viral playlist. Julie co-wrote the Ethel and the Chordtones song "Trouble" (ft. Ryan Levine of Wildling) which is featured in the Entourage Movie film trailer. Julie is the featured vocalist in films "Cymbeline" (2015) and "Haunters" (2014)  and the College Humor viral hit, "Look at this Instagram".

Hardy's voice has been featured on many national advertisement campaigns; most recently the Toyota "Cinderella" commercial and on the "Generous World" Coke ad which premiered during the 2015 Oscar Awards. She has been featured on ads for McDonalds, Diet Coke, Maybelline, Cotton, Ford, Volkswagen, Hershey's Bliss, Sheba, Liberty Mutual, Barnes & Noble, and Fanta and theme songs for OMG Insider and FX Has the Movies.  

Julie is the lead singer of Brooklyn based electro pop band Clementine and the Galaxy and retro rock group Ethel and the Chordtones

Julie received her Masters degree from New England Conservatory of Music in Jazz Performance in 2001 and a BA from the University of New Hampshire in 1999 in Composition. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AFM.
